Petition of Isaac Hodgdon and others that sentence of a Court Martial passed on Lt. John Reynalds may be revised, committed in the House to the Committee on Militia &c came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

[Left margin: Order respecting the education of youth]

Order of the House that the Committee on Literature &c. consider the expediency of amending the laws respecting the education of youth, and report by bill or otherwise, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

Petition of Winborn A. Swett and others, of Milo, for a grant of land, committed in the House to the Committee on State Lands, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

Petition of Charles Sampson and others, for an additional Act relating to the Court of Sessions, committed in the House to the Committee on the subject of the Courts of Sessions, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

Petition of the Selectmen of Dixmont for aid in erecting and maintaining a Bridge in said town; and
