Bill - An Act to incorporate the New York and Portland Exchange Granite Company came from the Senate amended - and the House agreed thereto & passed the Bill to be engrossed in concurrence.
The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Bill - An Act to incorporate the Waldoboro Lime Burning Company - - " to incorporate the Perry Plaster Company - - " additional act concerning the limits of Highways - - " additional act to incorporate the Proprietors of the Moosehead Dam Company - - " additional to an act to prevent fraud in Fire wood, Bark or Coal exposed for sale - " Act to encourage the culture of Silk within this State - - " allowing additional pay to the Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court - : authorizing the owners of Salt Marsh on Back Creek in the town of Woolwich to erect a dike - were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - An to incorporate the Bank of Old town - The House reconsider their vote passing this Bill to be engrossed, amend the same by striking out "one hundred" & inserting "Fifty" and then passed the Bill to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
And then the House until half past eight oclock tomorrow morning.
