On motion of Mr Hamlin of Hampden Ordered That the committee on the Pay Roll be instructed to make up, forthwith the Pay roll of this House to, & including tomorrow, and that from and after tomorrow this House adjourn without day Road & referred to Messrs Hamlin of Hampden, Foster of Pembroke & Smith of Westbrook with instructions to report this afternoon, what business remains to be acted upon.

Resolve - providing for taking the sense of the people, on amending the Constitution fixing the tenure of the offices of the Judicial Courts, was read a second time & referred to Messrs Watts of St. George, Chadbourne of Gardiner, and Chase of Camden.

On motion of Mr Potter of Augusta, Ordered, That the Committee on accounts be instructed to make up and report all necessary extra expenses incurred by any members of this House during its present session in consequence of severe sickness in addition to their travel & attendance, if in the opinion of said Committee any allowance ought to be made, & to report specially thereon.

Resolve concerning the State Prison, was read once and ordered to lie on the table.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Thomaston Meadow Lime Rock Company - " to incorporate Sceiops Narrows Manufacturing Company - - " to incorporate the Pembroke & Perry Manufacturing Company - " to incorporate the Oxford Bank were severally read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
