Bill - An Act to incorporate the Proprietors of Smiths Block in Bangor, was read a third time and indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.
Report - on the Order to enquire into the expediency of ceding to the United States Lands &. - in the Order relative to the attendance of witness residing out of state on trials of criminals & referring same to the next Legislature, were severally read & accepted. Sent up for concurrence.
The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed. Bill - An Act to incorporate the Norridgewock Mill Dam Company - - " concerning assignments - - " to incorporate the Hallowell Granite Rail Road Corporation - which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
The same Committee reported as truly engrossed Resolve - authorizing the Secretary of State to procure and distribute certain Documents - which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
