1228 A.(cont.) any thing more Q. What was the manner of preparing this meat? A. Usually had roast fresh beef once a week, or lamb of something of that kind. we usually boiled corned beef every day Q. Was the apparatus which you used for preparing this food suitable for such purposes? A. I should say it was. It was kept clean. Q. Do you think that in any case where the meat was found to be bad that it may have changed its condition or been injured by warm weather or anything after it was cooked? A. Yes sir Q. Do you think it was so in a cases? A. I think it was. I usually cooked more than I supposed we should want at a time so as to have it cold Q. While you were keeping it to be served up as cold meat in the future it became slightly tainted some of it? A. Yes sir Q. That is your belief A. Yes sir Q. You do not now recollect a case where any meat was spoiled previous to it being cooked?
