1111 A.(cont.) patient bruise another. I saw a patient by the name of McCarthy strike a patient by the name of Murch. I was the attendant , was not near enough to prevent it. Q. Is that all that was done to him, just struck him once? A. I separated them. He was very violent by spells sometimes, usually quieted right down in a few minutes. Q. Did you ever hear the word churning? A. I think I have never hear it used in the sense it has been used before the committees. That is the only flagrant case of a patient being hurt by another patient that you know of? A. Yes sir
